Back again with a few comments.
Walked around Red Light District--recommended by 3 people--don't really know what to say about it. Use your own imagination!
Also, found out why all the wind and rain....Hurricane Maria!  No comment!

  1. Love your gallivanting! The ancient stately buildings and canals are beautiful and exciting to see. All that history! Interesting that the bakery shop sign is in English. Is that prevalent? Also notice that you took no pix of the red light district! (I've read that once you've seen it you never forget it!) Took an armchair tour of the Frank house today and got goosebumps. It must have been disturbing as well as inspiring to see it for real.

Loving every step of your journey! Doubly wonderful to see your faces in those settings!

    1. Many signs in English and Dutch. Street names all in Dutch. Keep getting lost! Especially to Red Light District! Should have been an omen!

  4. OMG- I've heard stories of Amsterdam's red light district. I guess it's one of those things you've got to see if you are there but.... I just have one question-- where there males displayed as well as females?

🎼🎹🎼 'How do you solve a problem like Maria?' I hope the weather improves tomorrow-- today.
